Involved

Volunteer

When you volunteer at Stepping Stone, you can make sure children in Charlottesville and Albemarle County have the resources they need.

Donate Items

Check closets and drawers at home for new and like-new clothing, shoes, books, and gear that have been outgrown or replaced. When you donate clothes to people in need, you have the opportunity not only to provide warmth and comfort but also to elevate a person’s self-worth. Donated items can be dropped at our office Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9am-1pm. We're located at 750 Harris Street, Suite 102A.

Host a Collection Drive

Tap your local network of family, friends, and coworkers to help those in need. Host a drive at your workplace, school, book club, or place of worship. Tell us about your plans, and we can give you a list of critically needed items, as well as promotional materials to market your drive.

Provide Financial Support

Contributions, no matter how big or small, help Stepping Stone collect, process, and distribute the new essentials we need, such as diapers, baby wipes, bottles, and hygiene products to our families in need. When you support Stepping Stone, you invest in your community.
